| Reifenhäuser REICOFIL GmbH & Co. KG becomes an independent subsidiary within the Reifenhäuser group on July 1, 2005 |
Reifenhäuser REICOFIL GmbH & Co. KG is the latest spin-off of the Reifenhäuser group. |
This business area forms now an independent company within the Reifenhäuser group that remains family-owned.
In view of its development into the market leader in nonwoven line construction, it was deemed appropriate to match the organisation and structure of the synthetic fibre line division to meet the requirements of the market for the future.
Therefore, the synthetic fibre line production area was spun-off from Reifenhäuser GmbH & Co. KG Maschinenfabrik on July 1, 2005 and the independent Reifenhäuser REICOFIL GmbH & Co. KG was established.
The partners decided to take this step in order to better meet the operating requirements of the business areas of the Reifenhäuser group, which in many respects are very different.
The domicile of the company will remain Troisdorf. Management will be taken over by Dr.-Ing. Bernd Kunze and Dipl.-Kfm. Ulrich Reifenhäuser.

KG Maschinenfabrik, Troisdorf, develops and manufactures extrusion lines for production of cast film, thermoforming sheet and blown film, extrusion coating lines, counter-rotating twin-screw extruders, single-screw extruders, lines for direct extrusion of wood and fibres and extrusion dies.
- Reifenhäuser REICOFIL GmbH & Co. KG, Troisdorf, develops and manufactures lines for production of spunbond and meltblown fabrics.
- Reifenhäuser Plastic Machinery, Suzhou/PR China manufactures standardized three-layer blown film lines for the Asian market in an assembly plant inaugurated in Suzhou near Shanghai in 2004.
- Reimotec Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH located in Ober-Abtsteinach/Odenwald develops and manufactures extrusion lines for production of strapping tapes and spinning lines for production of monofilaments used as tennis racquet strings, fishing lines, screening mesh, artificial grass or technical textiles.
- Reiloy Metall GmbH, Troisdorf, produces wear- and corrosion-resistant top-quality alloys employed in bimetallic barrels and screws used as core components for various extruders and injection moulding machines and sold worldwide to manufacturers of plastics processing machines.
- Polyrema Davo GmbH & Co. KG / Polyrema KG in Troisdorf-Bergheim purchases, refurbishes and sells pre-owned extrusion lines.
In addition, Reifenhäuser oversees of eight own subsidiaries and is represented in all important markets of the world by 50 agencies with sales and service capabilities.
